Visit to Ladang 3rd. May 2012.

Visit to Ladang 03/05/2012.

The weather has been dry and sunny which is a contrast to the previous visit done on the 25th. April. So the ground has been good and dry.

Ladang 1, Kebun 3:  Chilli picking has been done intensively and what is left in most plants are the young green chillies which should be ready for picking in the next few days.

Description:  Chilli plants - noticed that most of the red coloured chillies have been picked and what is left on most plants are the young green ones which should be ready for picking in the next 2-3 days.










Ladang 1, Kebun 2:   Kebun 2 is harvested later than Kebun 3 by a margin of a month period. There are still a lot of red chillies left and the harvesting here is intensive.






Ladang 1 Kebun 1.  This kebun is at it's preparatory stage where each polybag has been cleared ready for re-planting.

Visit to Ladang 25th. April 2012

Visit to Ladang 25/04/2012

When visit was carried out on the 25thy. April, the weather has been quite wet. It has been raining in the last few days prior to the visit. Therefore the ground obviously was pretty muddy even under the rain shelter, the ground was wet and it has made the chilli picking process quite tricky.

Ladang A, Kebun 3.  Harvesting is still in progress. Production has been superb. This kebun has been in harvest in the last 3-4 weeks and still producing high amount of chillies.

Ladang 1, Kebun 2.  This kebun is at the peak of it's harvesting period. The harvest has been on-going  in the last 1-3 weeks.

Ladang 1, Kebun 1.  This particular plot has been harvested to the very last. And today will be the last before it will be prepared for re-planting. The workers still managed to pick a few bucket of chillies before they are being removed.

Ladang 2.   Last week, there was nothing seen on this part of ladang, apat from workers making some measurement on the field.  Now the rain shelter structure has been erected from one end to the other.


Description.  The building of 15 Rain shelters is in progress.









Visit to Ladang 17th. April 2012.

Visit on 17/4/2012.

Ladang 1.

A routine visit was done on the 17th. April 2012 and there is not much difference from the previous visit carried out about two weeks ago. At Ladang 1, Kebun 2 and 3 are still producing chillies. Kebun 3 was already well into the harvesting season whereas Kebun 2 has started harvesting. Kebun 1 at the far end has reached the end of the production 'line' but still producing chillies but at a reduced rate. Harvesting is still on-going here.

At Ladang 2.

This is a new 9.5 acres which the Company has acquired and work is underway to build 15 units of rain shelters. The apparatus and raw material needed to build these shelter just arrived on Monday, which was yesterday 16th. April 2012 a two day delay scheduled last Saturday. And during the visit, work are in progress to get the groundwork and measuring done correctly.

Ladang 1, Kebun 2: This particular kebun has started harvesting and is producing chillies at it's best.
















Ladang 1, Kabun 1.  This kebun is still at the end of the harvesting. The plants are still producing chillies but at a reduced rate.









Ladang 2.  Work is underway to build 15 units of rain shelter. This is a new land that the company has recently acquired.
