Latest from Ladang 2, Inas, Johol, Negeri Sembilan.

Harvesting.

The chilli plants at ladang 2 were flowering when the last visit was done early in the year. Below are some photos taken showing the plants at the flowering stages.

Description.  Chilli plants with buds ( the age of these plants are roughly 1-2 months old).

Harvesting.

Description:  The chilli at the same plot of land were harvested. It does not take long for the chilli plants to make money. From the seedling period to harvesting, it would take about 3-4 months.







On the 28th. February, more than 180 kg chillies were harvested within a day.

If the selling price of chilli was RM6 a kilo, takings from a days harvest will give RM1080.
If the selling price of chilli was RM10 a kilo, takings from a days harvest will give RM1800.
