 3. Analysis and Planning

3.1   The construction of Rain Shelters.

1 Unit of Rain Shelter measuring 20ft  x  100ft can accommodate  335 chili plants.
         15 Unit of Rain Shelter  can therefore accommodate  15  x   335   =  5025 plants

Each polybag can accommodate 2 plants, therefore :  Total number of plants that can be  planted with 15 Rain Shelter =  10,050 plants.

3.2  Product and Profit.

       Average harvest per bay/unit  =  25 kg.   Therefore  15 bay  =  15  x   25 kg  =  375 kg
      of  chili per day.

Depending on the market price of chili, overall profit can be estimated as below:

Market price of chili at RM5 per kg;    Profit =  375  x  5    =  RM1875 per day or  RM
       56,250 per month

If market price of chili goes up to RM8/kg;  Profit  = 375  x  8    =  RM3000 per day or
       RM90,000 per month.

3.3  Growing and Harvesting.

Planting is done  3  x  per year which means the first 2 months will be growing stages and  the 3rd and 4th   month will be harvesting.   The cycle continues for the next planting season.

 5. Marketing/selling of product etc.

    i. Locations.

There are many places/locations within Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Malacca which
markets these agricultural product eg. local groceries, wet market and 'Pasar Tani'.
Those who are involved in food industry will require a huge quantity of these produce and puts them in high demand. In the future, the Company envisages that the chili product be  delivered and sold directly to the Malaysian Agrofood Industry.

    ii. Method of distribution.

Distributions are made directly by selling and providing product to buyers or alternatively buyers would come to the Plantation/Farm and buy these product themselves.

6.  Strategies and Marketing the produce.

method of planting various agricultural produce via irrigation and fertilization which has been   proven to benefit and increase crop production.

2. To accelerate the use of modern method of planting and to impart these knowledge to local  farmers.

3. To help develop local areas so that various similar Projects can start near and around our
own Project. This will provide a momentum to attract the younger generations to get involve   in Agriculture as means to generate income and enhance local enonomy.

4. Using fertigation techniques has been proven to safe labour cost. It also avoid the over-use  and wastage of herbicides/pesticides. The construction of Rain Shelters provide a controlled  atmosphere and environment to easily monitor the progress of chili growth through out the    various stages from planting to harvest. It's the Company's objectives to promote using    fertigation as a method of farming to the locals farmer in the area.
